Questions about WordPress
Do I have to install WordPress myself?
No. Your package is delivered with WordPress already installed. You do not need to do anything.
Which PHP version does my website use?
You can choose from PHP 8.2 to 8.4. That works with all recent versions of WordPress and most plugins.
Can I move my existing WordPress website?
Yes. Transfer your files via SFTP and import your database via phpMyAdmin. Read how on the Migration help page.
Does my WordPress website get a padlock (https)?
Yes. The SSL certificate is free and is requested and renewed automatically.
Can I build an online shop with WooCommerce?
WooCommerce is a plugin for WordPress and also works on our web hosting. Choose a package with enough space for your product photos.
