Switch in five steps
Are you with another provider now? This is how you move your website, your email and your domain name to us, without losing anything.
How to move everything
Follow this order. Then your website and email keep working during the move.
- Order your packageChoose a package and, for your domain, "Transfer my domain" (with the transfer code).
- Move your websiteDownload your files from your old provider and upload them via SFTP. You move a database with phpMyAdmin (export and import).
- Create your mailboxesCreate the same email addresses in your control panel that you have now.
- Bring your old emailAdd both your old and your new mailbox in Outlook or Apple Mail, and drag your folders from old to new.
- Point your domain to usIf your domain moves to us, we set the DNS. If you keep it with your old provider, set the records from your control panel there.

Questions about moving
Is my website offline during the move?
Not if you follow the order above. Your website and email keep working at your old provider until your domain points to us.
Do I need to cancel my old package?
Yes, but only once everything works with us. Do not cancel your domain at your old provider if you transfer it to us: the transfer takes care of that.
How long does it take?
Moving everything over yourself takes an afternoon. A domain transfer usually takes a few days.
