Adding or changing DNS records

For example to connect Google, Microsoft 365 or your online shop to your domain.

DNS records determine where your domain points to. We set the records for your website and email automatically. If you want to connect something, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or an online shop, you add a record yourself.

How to add a record

  1. Log in to your control panel and choose DNS-records.
  2. Click Record toevoegen (add record).
  3. Choose the type (for example TXT, CNAME or MX) and enter the name and the value. You get these from the service you want to connect.
  4. Save the record. The change is active immediately.
It can take a few hours before the new setting is visible everywhere in the world.

Please note

  • Do not delete the records for your website and email: they will stop working.
  • Is your domain with another provider? Then you change the DNS there.
